This is for the
 contest. The theme is Movies, so I stuck L and Light in the classic 1920 silent film "The Cabinet of Dr Caligari." I figured calling it "The Cabinet of Dr Watari" was quite fitting and lulz-worthy. I did the whole piece in watercolor pencils and graphitints, then I brushed water over the whole thing to make it blend. I was actually toen between this verson and then a version with an antique filter. However, someone gave me the tip that the antique washed out the colors to much. Eh, I still kind of favor the antique filter one, hoever I do love this one, too. As always, it looks much better in real like, taken with a camera, lighting isn't always so good, etc. And yes, L has no right hand. He never has had one. Shut up. : D |

Whenever I say the title out loud, it always seems to come out "The Cabinet of Dr. Calamari " Lol, and then I think of squids, and get a really awkward picture in my head and it makes me giggle.
